raising seats up?

is there any way to get the seats to sit taller than they are now? like spacers or something to the like. i'm not a tall guy- 5'3"- and i'd love the extra visibility. that's actually one of the things that made me not want to get a 280zx before. seriously, i'm still running over curbs now and then because i can't see how close they are.

when you install aftermarket seats(sparco, recaro, etc), do they end up sitting at around stock height? it seems like you'd sit even lower. hehe, i'd be staring at the steering wheel while driving

I have a friend who put a set of Mazda Miatia seats in his car. They sit about 2-3" higher than the stock ones and feel great. The biggest atvantage is that they are narrow like the Z seats and fit in beautifully, he also wired the headrest speakers up to his aftermarket CD player! Really trick and comfortable.
