(the lower that is)I'm almost positive that you have one tie-rod end per side. They thread onto the ends of the steering rack shafts that have a pivot point built into them. kevtt 04-02-2007, 12:54 PM im cool with the tie rods i got one for each side, my que Q is about the BALL JOINTS, cause most cars have 2 per side, and when i look for them it only shows LOWER BALL JOINT, so is there any UPPER or do they only have 1 per side..thanks for replying CanyonCarver 04-02-2007, 04:40 PM Sorry, I don't know where I got off track on the rod ends. Working & surfing don't go well together. I searched a number of parts sites and there is no mention of an upper ball joint. In doing a search on tt.net, I could only find one thread where someone states that the 1990 model FSM shows a king pin attaching the steering knuckle to the upper control arm. Edit: it's a kingpin right here in the FSM. --->>> HERE (http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=fa&dir=&config=&refresh=&slide=16&cycle=off&scale=0&design=default&total=25) kevtt 04-05-2007, 10:15 AM kool, tanks man im just going to buy the lowerand then se if that will do..ill keep you posted,..
