Have you tried rolling down the windows or turning on the a/c / vent?

a sun reflector in the windshield does wonders with the windows cracked. Or just keep parking in the shade.

Also if you have T-tops make sure your inserts are installed to block out the sun. They make a world of difference.

As much as I hate the "look" of louvers, they make a HUGE difference in the cars ability to stay livable in the sun.

TTops, rear hatch and front glass create a green house effect in our cars.

With louvers, ttop shades, side window tint and a front window shade with the windows cracked about 1/4" will make a world of difference and protect the interior panels and dash from sun/heat damage as well.

driving a small, over powered sports car, you have to be prepared to be hot. the engine is very close to your legs, and the heat goes right through

I do have a louver on my back window, t-top inserts, side windows tinted and I use a window shade for the fron when its parked. I dont crack my windows unless I do not use the shade but when I do the heat is very mild and very confortable. Try some of these things and you will notice a diff.

the inserts are just the things that screw on to the t-tops right?

One day when it was super hot and sunny I opened up the door to my 300ZX, which I now use the T-Top shades on. My glasses fogged right up, the heat coming out of that car was ridiculous.

exhaust heat

How about exhaust heat, specifically from under the driver's side rear wheel? When I get out after a drive and walk to the back of the car, that area is almost on fire from the heat coming off the muffler - is that a symptom of anything, or just the way it is?

Go oldschool man. Get those window inserts with the alluminum foil looking reflective surface and put it on your front windshield. I live in cali, had to do that for a while in summer, makes a tremendous difference.
