Hiya all,

Well I finally have music in my car woohoo! Driving my Z is even more pleasant! Well I ended up on taking Evan's suggestion and got these speakers that he recommended from radio shack those are pretty cool! I also bought a Pioneer CD player with Supertuner.. Well I thought reception on that thing was supposed to be really good or something. But my reception is kinda crappy. Maybe its because my stock attena doesn't move up? hmmm Anyways have any suggestions here? Get a new attena.. I'm thinking about getting one of those FM booster reception things from radio shack..

If I do get a new attena are there and good options anywhere besides MSA?

Z reception can be poor. Did you say your antenna wont go up? well theres a red flag :) If you want to replace it you can use any universal unit from the auto parts/car stereo store.

I have a stock antenna that i think works if your interested.

PS you can always use a non power ant. too. Dont get super long one. I think it makes a z look like a radio controlled car LOL.

Haha, I totally agree on the RC car line Evan, I thought that my Z looked that way too. Thats why I found one of those 12" black rubber antennas, looks pretty good I think. (you can see it on my ride page) However, you sacrifice some reception... which doesn't matter a lot to me since I prefer CD's to the radio.

I'd stay away from power antennas as well, they are high maintenance. If you have them, make sure you steel wool/lubricate them about once a month or they'll sieze up on you and start blowing fuses or other things!
