Hello I'm also a new proud owner of a super black 350z track edition. I bought it this past saturday and so far I'm extremely happy with the car altough the weather is against me. I'm looking forward to making serious mods to the Z.

First of, What should I do with $2500 in modifications first?

I plan on spending $2500 each month on new mods.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Congrats on the car! The monthly investment you can use on the car is awesome. First opt for the factory ( NISMO ) exhaust, second get the dealer paint treatment option, third buy a garage to house the car. Enjoy!:D

The dealer paint treatment? can you tell me more on this?

By the way, It is garaged and will probably stay that way until spring time when we stop getting snow here in New Jersey.

Thanks for the reply. New exhaust coming up. I will post some pic if that's possible here when I have it installed:)

Greddy is coming out with a sweet TT set up. There are currently superchargers available that are less $ and a bit easier to install. You won't get as much bang though. The TT set-up will give you more power, but you'll pay for it.

Sgp is already selling the Greddy TT set up.
Take a look at the sponsor, Nismo.us. They have very good prices on Nismo products.
www.sgpracing.com, www.ultimatez.com, www.boost-solutions.com, and www.nopionline.com have a lot of 350Z products as well.

Because of all the issues i'm hearing about force induction, I'm thinking of going na. With the right mod, I should be able to get a respectable gain. I'll wait until more god nes are posted about Sc/TT fi.

The dealer paint treatment is about $500 dollars and after the dealer details the car a treatment is applied to the paint. It really makes it shine and helps protect it. Later you get a package the stuff from the dealer in the mail.:D

Great!!!!

Thanks for the info. In terms of exhaust, I'm hearing some pretty good stuff about the injen true dual exhaust and borla. What do you guys think of them instead of nismo which only has one pipe?

Dealer treatment?
Are you guys talking about a "package A"?

If you are, you must like throwing money away.

All they do is wash your car and apply a wax. It's not like a rust proofing or anything special. The product costs about 40-50 bucks and they pay the detailer about 75-100 bucks to do it. The rest is all profit baby!:p Good scam, I'd say.

Ha! Typical dealer.

I've seen those "Package A's" go for well over a thousand. Especially for those customers who buy the big expensive suv's or really expensive buicks. I even had one salesman ask me to please not tell a fellow co-worker how much it cost because that's where they were making up their "employee discount" because he was buying a vehicle.
You don't know the extent of a "typical" dealer until you've worked for them. I don't know how some of them live with themselves.:(

I've heard goo things about the Borla myself, I've also gotten the oppurtunity to hear it...it sounds SWEET! It makes the 350 sound like a F1 car. Here's some info on the Injen exhaust:

ok, I don't know what you've heard but I've heard the Nismo exhaust vs. the Borla exhaust. The Nismo blows the Borla away. The Borla sounds like a hollow can. The Nismo sounds deep and strong. I wish the sound clips still worked, I'd post'em.

The Nismo only has one pipe that goes back and then splits off. Not too much of a gain from that. Seems to cut air flow down a bit to me, but I could be wrong.
