Bleach 07-20-2004, 09:45 AM There is this one which most people have seen pictures of already. It does not look like it was easy. I have also seen another Skyline conversion done by a guy who used to be active on Zdriver.com a few years ago. I can't find any exterrior pics of his car though. He used to have a website called eurozx.com coso 10-11-2004, 09:42 PM what about ferrari 360 (modena/spider) tail lights.... i saw an avatar with a pic that appeared to be that !!! wtf... i want mine's that way :D roninjiro 10-12-2004, 05:12 AM ive done a conversion b/c i like rounds that suck into the body a little bit. still working on body work though Dorifto 10-13-2004, 10:23 PM I remember reading about a custom taillight build on a Japanese website ... this guy used 250 LED lights, and a flashlight bulb and surround to make custom taillights for his IS300 wagon. I'll try to find it again, as it was very informative, and for the most part, it looked easy, aside from the insane amout of soldering and hot-gluing. It made me think about performing a "Skyline" light treatment of sorts to my Z, but with LEDs instead of the light assembly itself. I'll post a sketch of what I'd like to do, as soon as I get my webpage up and running. team caffeine 10-14-2004, 01:50 PM you can get the round tails kit from arizonazcar: http://www.arizonazcar.com/spoil.html it's at the bottom... don't look that good though. replacing the lights would help though. you can also buy the entire back clip from them: http://www.arizonazcar.com/rclip.jpg Bleach 10-14-2004, 02:32 PM Those are for the Z only up to 1978. |
