Ooh BTW the answer. i was over at MSA and Sal was so friendly to unpack a set of ZG's for me.

He had a 280zx and a 240 sitting out back. to mount them on the s30 you need to push the ends together a bit ( the arch is to big otherwhise) Guess what!! it is the same with an s130 so the s30 ones fit a s130 with only minor tweaking !!

Hi all.

I know this is reviving a dead thread, but I`ve been thinking a lot about ZG flares on 280ZX with Watanabe rims myself as well, for years now. I was just wondering where I can get S30/S130 ZG Flares? (Doesnt matter which country the website store is based on.) As I did a heckuva lot of searching on google and only found a thread that leads back to the very same Z forum I`m registered on in the first place, hehe.

Big_Phil from hybridz does have flares on his 280z, and when I watched his videos on youtube, he said he got spacers for the wheels to stick out more, and I think it looks great!
A car repair/workshop here in town does those kind of body mods all the time, and they know where to get rims as well, so thats where I`ll be ordering the right kind of rims that I want and get the bodywork done. So to me it`s win-win-win.

I`ve been thinking about chrome/silver`ish front and rear bumper and bottom-of-sideskirts colors, this would look good on the dark-midnight-blue`ish color that "my" ZX already has.
Coupled with the entire hood sprayed: Looking like my family weapon shield insignia (Which I will be trying to find a picture of asap so you get the idea. The Z`s hood is already shaped like a medieval shield, so thats why I thought adding my family insignia onto the entire hood might be unique styling.)
Even though this all might look and sound like its copying Phil`s and many others Z`s a tad, it`s what I had already envisioned for my future ZX long before I knew there even actually was flares for the Z`s.

Sincerely Yours

RvH

In case it was of any interest.
Our insignia looks almost like that, exept it was 2 toned: Blue and silver, and replace the flowers with swords. I have a pic of it somewhere else, but not on my computer.

A crazy one from Japan that would cost you both arms, both legs, and at least one kidney to get for yourself.

considering that you cut out a section of the wheel arch to install the flares, my guess would be they would look the same.

Well i've been looking for that front air dam for a while so if anyone knows the company, name or how to get one i'd like to know...Don't quite matter to me the cost as long as it gives the look I want and thats what I want lol.
