Dash Removal Help

Anyone done this?

I removed the trim piece near the windshield (5 phillips screws), the 6 10mm bolts at the front of the dash, the 2 10mm bolts into the console area.

Both vent handle mounts and the steering column bolts. Don't think these really matter, just did them in case.

Seems like somethings still holding the dash in, any ideas?

Thanks in advance............

Did you disconnect the wiring harnesses? Speedo cable? All bolts?

If you're still working on this: You mentioned 2 10mm bolts in the console area. I assume you mean the center console. But, the dash has two supports around the center console area, one on each side. And each of those has two bolts. It's been about 4 years since I took mine out, but I remember using the How To Restore Your Datsun Z Car book, and the directions on dash removal were good. I still had to wiggle it a little bit to get it out, and that helped show one bolt I had forgotten. If you haven't already, remove the steering wheel and steering column trim, too. Lots more room to maneuver the dash out of there.

theres alot of bolts in the S30 dash. very hidden. removed teh trim piece by the windshield and got all those? remove all the uner parts of the dash and the center piece as well as teh center consule. and remove teh glove compartment, all of it. you should be able to find a few more hidden bolts now.
