interior carpet question
Hello, I'm looking for a good carpet set for my 78 Z car. If you have found a good one, please include info on quality, fit, if it has snaps for the e-brake boot, if it has factory-like slots cut out for cargo straps, where you purchased it with a price. You can e-mail me if you like. guesswho125@gmail.com
Thank you all for you info.

Thanks Skittle, But as I ask in my thread, I'm looking for more info than just where to buy a carpet kit. I'm looking for feedback in specific areas from people that have first hand experiance and would like to share there individual thoughts and findings with different carpet kits from the various different places they can be bought.

Fit was great, but be aware that there is no such thing as a no-cut carpet install. There are a bunch of pre-cuts in it which work great (like for the cargo straps, shifter, etc.), but you're going to have to use a really good pair of scissors (like the upholstery people use), a carpet knife, utility knife with new blades, etc. I had to custom cut the edge at the door sills (easy), and around the heater and a/c core mount (less easy), and a few other spots. It wasn't any big deal. I got a new e-brake boot, also from MSA, and mounted it with snaps from the fabric store (don't remember what size, but they were easy to find). It's easier to do in warm weather, as all the backings and materials relax a bit in the heat and sun. But, depending what part of the country you're in, that ship may have sailed, for the next few months anyway.
