350z rims on 240z anyone know if????

I have access to a set of 350z 18x8 rims and want to mount them on my 70 240Z. Has anyone done this yet? I have the adaptors to convert from 4 to 5 lug which are 43mm wide so the positve offset of the 350z rim is what I need. The question is how much offset will work and how much room in the z wheel housing. I know the 350z rim is +30 so my concern is I am pushing out 43mm with the adaptors and only pick up +30mm on the rim change but it is an inch wider. My fear is I will be pushing past the limits of space in the fenders. Anyone done this swap yet on a 240z? If successfully with what size tire?
