1977 280z Electrical Issue?
Hello there!
I'm trying to get my 280z running again for the first time this year. The car worked fine when I parked it, and when I started it this winter, but at this time the car seemed to not be getting fuel.
Long story short, I've determined the problem to be electrical in that the engine still turns over and fires (especially if fuel is placed directly into the cylinders) but will not stay running due to the fuel pump not pumping. In most cases, you would think a bad fuel pump, or a clogged line, something along those lines, but in my case half of the electronics in the car are no longer working either (most of which consist of relays as far as I can tell).
Here's the list of what I can find not working:
Turn signals (both)
Stereo
Buzzing noise that sounds when you first turn the key on (at least mine always has)
Fuel pump?
But other electronics do work like the headlights, horn, dash illumination, etc.
Any idea's on what to check for? Any help would be appreciated!

Pull the small wire off of the starter, turn the key to start. You should hear the pump run. If the pump runs then disconnect the hose from before the fuel filter under the hood and stick the hose in a large plastic bottle. Repeat the last step. It should fill the bottle in a few seconds. If the stream is weak you may have a bad pump or the filter in the rear is clogged. btw you did drain the old gas?
