240 clutch pressure
I have a 73 240. I put in a new clutch, everything worked well for awhile until the boot on the slave cyl. blew. I have not been able to get clutch pressure since. I've been through 3 slave cyls. and a new master cyl. I've tried bleeding several times, but cannot get pressure.

Thanks snwbrdr,
Yes the clutch is new. There are no leaks in the line. I drove it for several weeks after replacing the clutch, but since blowing the boot off of the slave cyl., I haven't had pressure. I did forget to mention that I put on a competion braided hose.

It could be that your new parts were adjusted so tight that the push rod on the master or slave bottomed out and damaged the cups in the cyclinder. The ss hoses are great because they don't flex. This also negates any give in the system so it blows the seal out instead. It might not leak but it is still bad. Disassemble the cyclinders and replace the bad one. I'm thinking it's the master. When you reinstall them, back your linkage way off on the clutch pedal and start over.
