Should be no problem. I think Series I 240Z's had the differential mounted slightly farther up. I know it wasn't by a large amount and I'm not sure how much this would effect you. If you have a Series I car and the differential hasn't been moved back to line up the half shafts correctly like they did in later models then I'd suggest doing it. It requires you get a later model control arm support, a later model mustashe bar, and I believe you turn around your front mount bar.
There has to be a web page with a how to about it some place. This will add life to your U joints in your half shafts, because they will be properly lined up with the rear hubs.
