260z help

Well my car has been sitting for about 2 years and I'm trying to get it running to sell it.

It will run on starting fluid and I'm getting fuel to the carbs, so I'm thinking the carbs are gummed up.

Does anyone have any advice on the easiest way to clean the carbs?

I'm not looking to swap out carbs for the older style or anything like that. I just wanna get it running so I can sell it and put the money into my 300zxtt.

Thanks,
Erik

w00t! Another Utah Z'er! They just keep comin!

Welcome to ZDriver! I suggest yanking the carbs & giving them a good clean up / rebuild, but if you aren't up to that task, tear them down as much as possible (like remove the needles & clean the bowls). You'll also need a carb sync tool.

Thanks for the response NismoPick. I remember your name from the utah z club site, I'm on there also. Have you worked on these carbs at all?
