the 260ZT, she LIVES, seh actually started!!!!

muwahahaha, i got her to run, and with an open downpipe a T3 turbo and that higher compression for better spool, damn thing sounds like a friggin whipple supper charger, shoooo weee!!!

now the down side, my oil pan has a leak, well, another leak, luckily i invented a sweet material that patches anything, its even air tight and strong as cement, and heat resistat, then, BOTH threaded ends of my oil feed line (an SS one) leak, one leaks horridly teh other end is a minor drip that can be fixed wtih that wierd white tape that you put on the threads. the car also doesnt stop running when the key is turned off, found this out to be the fault of eliminating my voltage regulator, but w/e thats no big, the other problem, is now on start up (didnt happen before i could crank her all day) on start up she likes to blow her start position fuseable link.... and thats all the problems, other than lil spots of rust and w/e that dont matter, but holy hell does she sound nice, thatnks to those oil leaks though i didnt get to drive her.

oh yeah, and the timing needs a little adjusting she doesnt like to hold idle and when she does its very unsteady.

BUT WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 to the turbo s30's

+1 to the few turbo 260's

+1 to the most bitchin S30's in IL let alone a turbo one..... schwing!

must stop oil leak first! lol. i know im soooo shocked, cause i has having confusion wtih plug 2 and it not matching the 82 schematic nor any one elses description, so i said F' it and used the wires i "felt" were it lol. i was cranking her and cranking her when the fuel pump was on, then crankin her some more and i was like **** its wrong let off teh ignition and it sputtered... i was like.... shhheeeeettttt cranked her for 13 seconds and VROOM VROOM ****! purred like a kittin but wasnt to excited about holding idle, i think the timing is a little advanced no retarded, we shall see. FIRST TRY!!!!! im still phyched. im hoping AMS has oil feed lines SS ones so i can tommorow after school go with adrian get one and start her up for a quick test drive. vid will follow if all goes to plan. and i might need near half a quart of oil.

You're using the stock na distrib right? I guess boost pressure won't affect timing....

what? no i swapped to the Turbo everything other than the block. but it doesnt got the vac advance on it so i dont see how boost pressure would effect it either.

Oh yeah... I forgot you are using the turbo ecu & wiring. I thought for a minute you were using the stock ecu.

You used the supplied washers & torqued them to the right specs? Post a pic of the leaking connections.

they are leaking at the part teh nut rotates on the line, so its the oil line itself, not how its on there, plus on attempting to remove one side so i could thread tape it the nut stopped spinning and grabbed and kinked the hose so its ****ed any who. lol.... im just goin to AMS tommorow. and if i still get problems ill bitch and post pics.
