Back again with another question. When I turn my key on with engine off the fuel pump runs constant not building pressure. It used to shut off but not now and if you gas on it slowly it does ok but if you gas very fast it stalls then picks up and go's over and over. I put a new pump and pressure regulator and injectors. Is there something else to cause it or did i get a bad regulator, and what is the best way to hook up a pressure gauge.

 

Anywhere ahead of the regulator you should have 35 psi with the pump running. You should also have some flow after the reg back to the tank. It is not normal for the pump to run without the engine turning over.

 

All 280z fuel rails I have seen can only flow in one direction. If you accidentally mix the send and return lines from the tank then you get no fuel flow.
