71 260Z flashers

71 260Z flashers

i have a 71 260 and the four way flashers work but the turn singles don't work niether do the parking lights so i was wondering if anyone else had this promblem if so please respond

The flashers are on a seperate fuse circuit. Check your fusebox for melted terminals and go from there. The reason they melt is the connector plugs in these old cars get corroded which increases the resistance which causes the fuse to blow. People put bigger fuses in and something else has to blow- the wiring! Get some contact cleaner from RadioShack and as you trace the loom, unplug and spray the connectors. You will be amazed at how much better everything works.
