Engine oli change

Hello,
I just bought a 260z and don't have the owners manual(downloaded service manual). Could some one tell me how much and what type of oil to use when I change the oil on my z? Or somewhere to download the owners manual would be even better. Thanks, Jeff

Your local parts store will have the specs, or you could just google it. In the 240z-260z Haynes manual it says 10.7 pints or 5.35 quarts.

Well I know...that 10w 30 is a good overall weight for a healthy engine. Also depends where you are at climate wise. It should be the same grade like my 280zx. But I need to use thicker oil..because of my bad cylinder. I use 20w 50 in mine. Because I leak and burn oil. But yeah...10w 30 should be a good overall grade for your Z.

Like WildmaN said, 10W-30 should be fine. Also, I'd stick with non-synthetic....synthetic oil can cause problems with older engines (if its never been used before).
