L24 P30 Block With N47 Head?

I recently just bought a L24 block for cheep. Im still experimenting around with Datsuns. I currently own a 1979 280zx with a L28 Block N42 with a N47 head on it. Just a quick question to all could I use my N47 head on the l24 block? I realize its a 2.4L and I should be losing compression but I wanted to try and combine the two together so I can take my L28 block and rebuild it and still have a running car in the meantime. Very tight on money now so i dont have enough money to just buy a bunch of stuff. But I was doing some research and trying to understand this L24 block as well as my own. First thing I know is its from a 73 240z and it has the flattop pistons in it. Something im not to sure of but from what i've read i've come to understand the the L24 block had either the e31 or e88 head on it and in the 74' year they had the L24 but instead of a 2.4L it was bored to a 2.6L, and I think they also had n47 heads on it. CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG PLEASE, but in conclusion could I take what parts I do have and combine them together to build something? Im not looking to get amazing naturally asperated power. Im just looking to experiment and learn from what I build to help futher my knowledge on my engines. I already know what build I want to do I just cant afford it yet. I want to do The F54 block with the P90 head, shave the head by i think it was 10mm or something like that, get the Hitachi S.U. Roundtop Carbs and get a 3-2-1 exhaust header, but like I said I dont have the money for it. So back to what I have, do I need a different transmission? Drivetrain? Can the N47 head work on the L24 block? Do I have to modify anything? Will it fit in the bay with no custom mounts? Will the EFI system work on the block? Will the manifolds line up?

What I know I have in my Z

Engine: L28E N42 block Dished Pistons
N47 head
Standard Bosche L-Series Fuel Injection System
Stock Drivetrain
Stock Transmission
Removed A/C components
New Fuel Filter/ Import Direct Electrical Fuel Pump
Cold Air Intake

Secondary Parts:
L24 P30 Block all internals flat top pistons

I don't know if they'll work im just hoping theres a way the two can work together. My L28 needs an overhaul and I need a running car to pay the bills. I've also tried searching the web for this answer before I posted it and I haven't found anything.

Thanks Im open to other ideas, im not looking to be talked down upon either, im just curious.

FYI the L26 has a smaller bore and a L28 crank. The valves are larger in the N47 head so you might have to notch the cylinder (not sure). What you're talking can get real expensive real fast.
