Anybody know about these carbs ?
I've purchased a set of SK Racing 40mm carbs to run on my 73 240 rebuild. Was wondering if anybody might shed some experiences, good or bad. It's going to be a while before the engine is installed do to body restoration.
Thanks

SK carbs
Hold on to those SK carbs. SK is short for Sanyo (mind went blank but it starts with a K). They were the way to go for a reliable and powerful blow-thru carb set up. They also had the surge tank and computer that helped with the management of the set up. Every now and again the surge tanks pop up on e-bay. They have SK COMP TURBO in raised lettering on them. Nice tanks. However I don't know how they run in a N/A application.

This may all be a myth, but I heard they went under because basically they used designs from both Mikuni and Webber and were sued because of patent enfringments. Someone told me the Webber Jets will work as well as some other parts. I guess they're great carbs though.
