I was crawling around under my Z this morning looking for a leak,(which ended up only being the shifter boot) but what i did notice is that the transmission cross member mounts are absolutley shot. Any recomendations as weather to use urathane or rubber. Will the urathane be to hard and cause to much vibration? Any replies welcome.

I went ahead and replaced the transmission mounts with "G Machine" graphite impregneted urathane bushings. Wow what difference. More solid shifting, rolls on and off the throttle smoother and less vibration. At least less than no bushings at all. They were a little pain to get in but not to bad.
Just in case any one was interested.

The mounts were $14.95 and I purchased them from Victoria British. 1 800 255 0088. In a quest for some information on some other "G Machine" bushings I purchased from them, (which they couldn't answer for me) I found Foreign Auto Tech, 650 589 3100 a distrubitor of G Machine in Ca. Maybe they can tell you of a supplier near you.
