280z Build!

Alright guys well i just got the 280 last week and so far ive been etting the feel for it and racing up and down the neighborhood, just yesterday ive started stripping some rust and there's alot more to come and i will keep the build updated with pictures im stripping everything to bare metal chassis and starting from there, and i will have questions for you guys to help me out, so wish me luck

lets just hope that works, im just afraid there will be exaggerated amount of welding. and btw snwbrderphat540 im pretty close to you. im in chicago, it's good to know there are other Z owners around, of my whole life ive lived in chicago i havn;t seen one 240 -280z

really? what suburb? cause i doubt your actually working on this car IN the city itself. and yeah im just down I-55 from lakeshore its like a 25 minute drive. how old are you to?

i live kinda off the border of norridge and chicago but still in chicago, right off of i-90, so about 8 - 10 miles west of the lake. and im 18

oh really. well, i blew my half shaft bolts appart. lol. so once i get them fixed maybe we can meet up sometime and play Z games lol (im 20 btw)

looks like you have a little money pit but should be good. that rear bumper guard bars gotta go. looks like that needs to be on a off road truck or something. so what are you plans for it?

ya hybridz is deff not that friendly, and to answer your question yes i do weld ( since i got the Z) and the rear bumper that is gonna go, im gonna sheet metal the back and smooth it and curve it down, if i find a picture i'll pst it up of what it'll look like, and as for money pit oh yes but i estimated i need 2000 more to get it to where i want it before the final step
