i have a 77 280Z and i was wondering if i could put a turbo in the stock engine? what it be worth it? what about a turbo from a 83 280ZXT?

 

you can put about 6psi on stock motor. But how long it last, I can't tell you. The turbo put stress to the piston and rings. You would want a set of pistons with deeper ring lands than stock. Get a corky bell's maxium boost for more info.
