Advice needed please
Hello, my name is Sam (Central California). I am the 2nd owner of a 1970 240Z. The original owner had the car for 8 years and I bought it in 1978. I drove it daily for 10 years and parked it due to not passing smog and life changes (1988). The car ran like a top when I parked it and stored it. It has 130,000 miles (plus or minus). The car's body is strait as an arrow and has never been in an accident. It has the original engine, trans, and dif. It is a repaint with primer sprayed on areas that had paint chips. There is no rust at all. a couple of years ago I drained the tank and changed the fuel filter and attempted to start it....and it ran! A little rough, but it ran. There are a few things that are needed to make it drivable (slave cylinder, tune up, carbs rebuilt?) The interior is all original except for the seats. They were recovered. There is general wear and tear of the interior and is in need of a little help to make it look great.
Now I'm at the crossroads. I'm thinking of selling it. But I don't know where to start. Craigslist doesn't seem to be a good guage of prices, and I can't find any 70 Z's. Some 71's, but not many 70's. I dont know what to ask for it either. I'm not sure what the market is commanding for 70's right now. If there is anyone that might have a good idea of what I should ask, or if more information is needed, please let me know. This site looks like the best source of knowledge I've seen. Thanks again in advance!

1970 Nissan/Datsun 240Z 2 Door Coupe Value, Prices & Specs | NADAguides | NADA 1970 Nissan/Datsun 240Z Book Value & 1970 Nissan/Datsun 240Z Market Price
NADA is always a bit high but you could sell easily for $2K and up. If its truly rust free and running $5K and up isn't unheard of.
