Re: anyone know where i can find these flares?
every one in this forum should try checking www.zcarparts.com for what they need. u may need to order a catolog by mail, it costs $5.00, but i think u get a $5.00 credit towards your order. they have tons of replacement parts for your Z plus the most amount of after market equipment that i have eer sen in one place at one time. if u have any qustions, send me a message.

Approx $600AUD each for 15x7" - I just e-mailed them & asked!
I'll be saving up for a while though....
ZG flares are available from MSA & Classic Datsun in CA.

Re: anyone know where i can find these flares?
In a Japanese magazine I'm looking at called "Autoworks" (4/2002 issue), there is a company called "Katori". Now, I can't read a lick of Japanese but they have a picture of 6 differnt (sized) ZG type flares for 180SX, AE86, R30/31/32, SA22C, FD3S, S30, and S31with the text "OK!" right next to it and a price of 10k yen (pair?)... the largest one shown appear to be the one in your picture.....

thanks guys!
hey shiroz there you go helping me again, thanks dude...well everyone.... i think ill be okay with my regular ZG flares...ill be running 225-50 tires on my 15x10" rim so it should tuck in nicely. once i can get rid of the slicks ill be happy, there are way to big for me. im trying to trade anyone for my slicks for a pair of 225-50 r15 tires or sell them for 180/pair..i attached a new pic of my car with the wheels, check my profile for more pics...take care all!!!!

Re: thanks guys!
only way to get real rubber under the car is modify the wheel well. stony (the rb26dett 260Z) who originally had those 15x10 watanabes modified the inner wheel well alot to get those to fit snug. and and 225 on a 10 in wide tire is gunan look funny.

stretch tires
heres a picture of a stretched tire from the rs watanabe website, the 240z is running 195-55 fronts and 215-50 rears...the front rims are 15x8.5 and the rears are 15x9.5 i was told by drifting friends that when you run stretch tires when you take turns the tire gets full contact of the road. it may look funny but its fine with me, ill take pictures when i get them installed. i just didnt want big rubber on my car, plus ill cut my fender wall if i need to, we'll see. heres the link to the watanabe website,

you can click on the 240z section. see yah guys and gals

Re: anyone know where i can find these flares?
Victoria British at www.victoriabritish.com carries a Z car catalog with the steel street flars that appear to be what you are looking for by the picture. They are 2.5" for the front and 3.5" for the rear and run 399.99 per set. You can order a free catalog from the web site. Hope this helps you out.
