Beware of George G. Robbins (aka: reddat)!!
Just a warning to all who buy Z parts online, there's a guy on eBay who is located in Houston, Tx. that sells Z parts on eBay under the name reddat who's real name is GEORGE G. ROBBINS and contact info is:
email: sprydat@houston.rr.com
George G. Robbins
18231 Spruce Creek Dr.
Houston, TX. 77084
This guy really gives the Z crowd a bad name by selling falsely advertised items. When asked for a better description and provided a picture he assurred me that what I provided a picture of is what he was selling but when it arrived it was something completely different. I then send a picture of his item and what he said it was side by side and he still could not see the obvious differences! Refused to take the item back then told me to "get a life". This guy is a worldclass jerk! Please be careful if you choose to do business with him...he'll also screw you on shipping (charged me $10 on something he only paid $3.53 to send in a reused box).

I have never bought from him, but according to ebay about 17,000 ebayers have and he has a 99.7 rating. How does he keep that kind of rating if he is screwing people? He seems to have a lot of NEW stuff but reading this scares me since i was looking at ordering a couple of things from him. Anyone else with a bad experience?

I purchased something from him a few years ago and did not have a problem. I found out later that I could have gotten it cheaper from MSA. If you have any problem with ebay you can file a dispute and that means big trouble for the seller since the policies have changed to pro buyer. Ebay comes down hard on sellers for that and will even suspend them. Fight back, sellers are no longer allowed to give out negative feedback but you can. Open a dispute today, it's easy. At the very least the buyer has to allow returns on items that are different than the ad.

to date he is no putting shipping charges on his ads...I have purchased from him in the past and fought him over the shipping he tried to charge me and I won the arguement...he is a big EBAYER as well as a pompus *** and you should always check everywhere before purchasing on EBAY...sometimes there are good steals of deals on Ebay sometimes not, they are there for convience and you most likely would save money buying somewhere else...

I have dealt with him in the past. Haven't had any problems yet. It wasn't too long ago, I purchased something for my 280zx from him. Too bad, that he has screwed other people. He does sell a lot of parts for the Z's.

Shipping is SLOW and EXPENSIVE. He describes everything as "NICE" but is is usually an old part that hasn't been cleaned and has been quickly painted with a rattle can to look good enough for pictures.
There are far better sources out there, IMHO, than to roll the dice with this guy. I wish I'd seen this post before I purchased.

He seems to have no clue what he is selling. Recently advertising an inner fender for a 280z which clearly is for a 280zx, they're not interchangeable.
I even sent him a message letting him know it wouldn't fit a 77/78 280z, but he didn't update the description.
