Black Pearl Z Or 240Z Clone?

My Z is a black pearl edition Z and Im curious about a few things.

First off if the Z has been repainted with the same factory color does it still retain is value as a black pearl Z? If any value above a normal S30.

Then, How much body work would there be to change a 280 to a 240 clone? Least on the outside. I would guess 99% of the front end would be bolt on things but the back looks like some metal shaping would be required. Is this true?

Thanks guys!

Need the 240z tail lights and covers.
You can buy some brackets to swap 240 bumpers with the 240 grill. Get the 240 lower air dam and swap over the blinkers. Overall the body is the same. The early 240 had fiberglass headlight buckets. Nothing really special about the black pearl edition beside the color scheme. So the value is based on the condition of a 280z. With enough time and money anything is possible.

Wow that looked easier then I expected... I figured the front end would be easy, I didn't think that the rear would be just as easy. The only concern I had was I remember there was an indent where the bumper wrapped around the body on a 240 that the 280 doesn't have. But it seems like it isn't much of an issue.

Thanks!
