Breaking in cam tomorrow!!!

I'm going to bolt my head back on tomorrow, and I have to break in my reground cam. I know I should put some assembly lube inside of the camshaft holders/bearings, but how much should be in there. There is some lube in there right now, not a great bit, but a very thin coating of oil and assembly lube. How much more should I put in there? Is there an easier way to take the cam out of the bearing/cam holder than unbolting the whole assembly? If not, it's not a big deal.

Why do you want to take the cam out to put the head on?

lol, I must have typed that wrong. I meant take the cam out to lube between the cam and the cam bearing/holders/towers/whatever they are called.
