checking the timing
I know it's a dumb question , but I have only had my zed for three months and its my first one . Where is the timing mark ? Thanks guys yall are a wealth of info . This site ROCKS !!!!!!

O.K. is not a dumb question. The timing mark is on a metal plate about (i would estimate 5 inches) it also has like saw like teeths. and it is above the crankshaft or below the water pump. It might be a little hard to read the degree marks. One way to see them is by taking it off and sanding it with a wire brush good luck.

its hard to see if you have a bit of oil on ther also...
