eurozx,
how did you remount them the 2nd time? I have a set for my 240Z and they are the ones with 1 screw at the lower front and 2 tabs that slip into slots next to the headlight. All the tabs are broken off. Is this the type that MSA and/or carparts.com sells? I would prefer not to have to drill new holes.

Re: clear headlight bubbles
I recently got Tinted Headlight Covers. I used to have clear ones but the previous owner had put them on and they were cracked in various places from overtightening them. When my step father looked at the work I had been doing on the engine of my car he lent on one and completed rooted em. He bought me the tinted ones which I'm very happy with. I had a few hiccups though because where the drill holes were in the sugar scoops (Headlight Bubbles) was all wrong and I think that's why the old pair got so cracked. I definately recommend using screws and DO NOT Overtighten them it's better that they arn't on firmly and evenly than tightening them. That way if someone leans on one it's less likely to crack. If you have cracked yours around the screw holes in the cover I used larger washers to help keep them together. Now of course I have new tined ones which look very clean and I absolutely love em'.

i got a suggestion for those who bought the head light covers and want that chrome look instead of the black rubber surround...if you go to any local pep boys, go look for side door molding guards, it looks exactly like the ones msa uses for the headlight covers...they sell rubber surrounds with chrome look...check it out!!! if yah guys cant find it, email me and ill get the part numbers for you...zya
