customize a tenth anniversary
I've started rebuilding my tenth and was wondering what you guys thought about modifiying it or just leaving it completely stock? I really want more power but I also realize I will destroy resale value when I modify it. Just wondered what the general response would be to this.

Re: customize a tenth anniversary
Well at the moment the 240z is the only Z car to hold True Classic Status. I own a 73 240z and I've considered keeping it stock and for a while I was gonna completely restore it as original as possible. I then thought what's better than a turbo 240z with a huge front spoiler and rear whale tail. And to top it off 2 racing stripes down the middle. Now that's nowhere near original but what's the point in having the car for other people's interest why not have fun with it and have it the way you like it afterall your gonna drive it right. Of course engine swaps and big **** wheel arch flares are a bit over the top in my book. I see no harm though in modifying your car as long as you don't go 2 crazy you won't harm it's resale value. Well I don't think anyway, let me know what you end up doing.
