Hi, I have an E31 that's been worked over and would like to install on an L28 block. According to stamping on CC side surface, it's been milled .028. I need to have one area "shored up" - it's a little thin. I'm expecting to then have it milled again, probably to 033-038 range. How many cc's will this reduce the chamber size? I'd like to use flat tops but CR might be too high for pump gas.

btw, The cam side of the head looks like it was also milled 018 and the cam towers are shimmed the same. There is oxide s**t all in the water passages. Is this head even worth working with or should I start shopping for an N42?
