FABWORX L28 Haltech Install Complete
It took me a couple days but its up and running i just wanted to share the results with you guys. I got the joy of wiring in a Haltech Sprint 500 ECU. Already got the tach and all other interior wiring done. its is by far a straight forward install. i honestly think its easier than some of the mega squirt wiring ive seen. Motor fired right up upon completion of the wiring. im running the factory non turbo 78 distributor for spark distribution to the plugs. for fuel i modified the rail that was on the car and installed some 410cc high impedance injectors. throttle response is great now that the tps is dialed in. fuel is being run in a multi spray pattern. basically the injectors are paired but the ecu fires only half of the fuel on tdc and the other half on tdc for better control. i did have to install a crank trigger though, but that leaves the customer the option to upgrade to individual coils later on if he so desires.
