Fairlady 280z Project
Hi Everyone in Z-car land.
I picked up a car in late September that I am looking forward to restoring. It is a 1979 Fairlady 280Z 2+2 special edition. It is an original Japanese production model and from what I can tell so it is all original except for parts of the drive train.
I have gotten the car to start once, but there is such a big mess inside the engine compartment that I afraid to start it again. Between clogged injectors, missing vaccum lines and jerry-rigged electrical systems I think that I will do a front to back rework of the internals.
Anyway If I can find an easy way to post a set of pictures I will. Oh yes and by the way My name is Josh and I live in Atlanta Ga. I found the car at a Z-car junk yard not far from my house. I picked it up for about $750 Dollars. The racing wheels and the mirror placement are what really caught me eye until I saw that It was right hand drive. So I dropped the money and from what I can tell so far I got the car for a steal.
Thanks for taking a look at my Post,
Josh

Re: Fairlady 280z Project
Seems like a fair price for it. You can start up your own "ride" in the rides section and that will hold a bunch of pictures and a description of the car, just like what you wrote here.
