First car. 240z or 280z?

First car. 240z or 280z?

i have been leaning towards a 240z but i heard 280z is a better daily driver car. i just need some imput of what car i should get, and which car is easier to deal with maintance. and one more question is if i bought either one of these cars for around 2200 what condition would it be in.

well if you plan on restoring one of these cars get the 240Z, but if this car is gonna be a daily driver then i suggest the 280Z.

Well, My 280Z works great as a daily driver. No problems, starts right up every time. From what i understand, EFI seems to be more reliable for daily driving anyway.

Restoring/customizing

I've started tearing down my '77 280Z planning doing both restore with a little custom work. It's very eazy to work with and was a great daily car until I started this project. Once you get the EFI right you wont regret it.
