FUEL GUAGE
I relocated my fuel guage to the glove compartment and it doesn't register correctly anymore- All connections are correct and strong. Could this misreading have something to do with moving from a well grounded position to being held up with a steel bar ?? Anyone else had this problem??

Re: FUEL GUAGE
Make sure the gauge is grounded if thats not your problem then you should ck your sending unit make sure the gas tank only has a 1/4 of a tank remove the wires from the sending unit and remove the ring that holds the sending unit. Use a ohm meter to ck the unit it should read 0 - 90 ohms when you move the arm.

Re: FUEL GUAGE
I haven't fooled with it anymore for the time being. I believe that originally it is grounded by being in place in the metal insert in the dash and now its stationed on top of the plastic in the glovebox. I think I might sauter a ground onto the guage running it to some nearby metal.
