I have a 1976 280z the fuel inj.. is having problems and i dont have a ton of cash to fix it I found a intake and holley carb fairly cheap and i know about carbs but not much about fuel inj.. has any one done this and if so what are the up's and down's

 

I have the round-top SUs and the annual tuning and balance issues... and choke issues and adjustments... I investigated getting anything to get over this annual ritual. Everyone suggested to FORGET the Holley conversion, as the intake has to go down and then in, versus straight in from the SU sidedrafts. If you must do anything, convert to SUs. But even the best SUs will not equal the efficiency of a correct EFI system. Just what I have read over these many years.
