How can i repair my gas float ? If possible ? It always marks full tank! On an 83' 280zx GL version ,digital display.

 

very funny bleech lol..... I had a problem like that on my 260z I think it could be the sender unit. Check the gas tank itself and make sure none of the wires are grounding or there not touching. Also the float or sender in the tank could be stuffed or the actuall guage itself not sure with a ZX but...
