having trouble starting
ive got a 78 280z and its havin trouble starting
its been sitting in my back yard for about a year and a month before that my dad and his friend had it running, but the had used his friends 280z to cross gas lines over to mine and it ran fine. So ive replaced all the fuel lines had the gas tank boiled and a new fuel pump and new fuel filter new sparks oilfilter oil antifreeze and airfilter and new battery
but its having troubl it slightly turns the belt then the pull on the battery is to much and it stop turning i dont hear the fuel pump either so i dont know exactly whats wrong im chargeing the batery to see if that helps but if that doesnt work i dont know what to do ive cleared all the lines with 125 psi so nothing blockin it so i am frustrated please help!! Thanx

Re: having trouble starting
Does the motor turn over at all? is it a auto or a 5 speed? If is doesnt crank over then your block might be froze. If it cranks, then go down the list. spark, fuel, air, timing. The only other way is crued but it works. shoot starter fluid in just past the AFM and crank. the starter fluid will fire with very little spark.
Good Luck
