I'm not sure if I'm on the correct message forum to ask this question. If not I apologize. So, has anybody transplanted the 280zx adjustable and heated mirrors to a 280Z? This is about the only feature on the ZX models that I will miss on the 280Z. Please, no flames ;0)

 

That is not a bad idea there is room for added switches for electric mirrors in the center counsole(of the early Z, especially the 280z) I've never seen it done, but i think I might try it myself.
I guess to restate the question:
has anyone seen it done?

 

I have "seen" it done... the motored ZX mirrors are on a 240 I just bought on ebay... along with a couple other niceties... = )

this will soon have new drive axle, engine mounted further back, MSA comp springs, tokico 5-way struts, coil-overs, new bonnet latch mount, Quaife diff insert for limited slip, also Blaupunk San Fransisco stereo head, infinity component speakers up front, and rockfort punch woofers allllll the way in the back. then paint, lol

It is the stylish 280ZX mirrors that make for speed and beauty tho... lol = )
