ive switched cars from synthetic to regular without any problems, problems with oil occur when you are running 5/30 when your supposed to run 10/30..

I tried to do that, but they refused to pay for anything. So I decided to take it to a detailing shop and they told me no problem, you wont notice it. They did "the works" to the car and sure enough you don't see it anymore. They also fixed a coupe other paint flaws too. Everything looks great so I am happy.

I didn't mind paying for this because the car was filthy inside and out. I got rust proofing done yesterday and it made even more of a mess. Everything worked out in the end. The kid even came around my drive way today and I verbally tore him a new a-hole. I don't expect to see him around anymore

What kind of additives are we talking about? Cause I put about 4oz of sea foam in with my synthetic change over.

Like that Lucas shiz. That stuff works for engines that burn a lot of oil... it doesn't work good for performance driving.

Why can't you go back?

Synthetic & Conventional oils don't mix well (when you drain your oil... there is still SOME oil in the motor). Technically you CAN go back, it's just not recommended...
