I think it's time for a 240z

Good day all. Looking for a little help here.

Any feedback on which 240z is the best year, or does that not matter? I am looking at a 73 that does not run, but will. They want $2000.00 for it and I think that is a little high.

There is rust on the door sills, which I don't mind, but what else or where else should I be looking for rust or ??. The body is pretty straight and is said to have no accidents.

This is my first post, so thanks for any help you can give me

From: warmspott, trollville.......somewhere sailing the seas--fla, virgin islands...wherever....warm water....LOL
find out how long the car hasnt run, what is wrong and the symptoms.
i usually start with 500$ for a decent car not running. can you fix it. if the bodyu is in good condition, i add to that basic number....i take off for dents and rust.......depends on what you want to pay for the car and how much you reaLLY WANT IToopps....if the car was perfect and the motor nonrunning, i would thnk of 1500 unlss the car is rare, then more--depends on what you can dop yourself and what you have to hire out.......

Your cats are awesome, thank for the feedback, no more catnip for that one with the gun(he looks like our cat, Weasel).......lol

I think I was about right then, because I would like to think I can get it for closer to 1200, since it will need a bit of work. The owner has had it since 1974, that's a plus, but it needs paint too.

I have been looking around and seeing a few other offerings, so we shall see,

Thanks again for chiming in
