I am going to redo my Valve cover when the weather warms so I can paint. I have to also wait til I have more money to put on the braided hoses. I put on the leather shift **** last year. I cut 3 inches off the shifter to make the **** look better. Until I get a short throw shifter. I put Miata seat in my Z and they look fine. I will take somes pics later. The body work I am hoping to have done by March.
Your car is looking nice.

If thats the big one the air reg went to then i used a plastic plug with some gasket sealant and topped off with a tight wrap of electrical tape so it don't blow out easy in case of backfires.
If you mean the sleeve between the air meter and the throttle i replaced it with some larger air tubing on acount of it being rotten.
Have to tackle the rear brakes next, one is leaking.
Might wait till i get a Chilton's to go with the Haynes.

take it from me....replace anything you can. you've got you're work cut out for you. on the rear deck lid you're probably going to have to cut out the cancer and weld a piece of 18 or 20 gauge steel in place. use rage filler. the stuff sands like butter and is very forgiving. good luck.

Somedays i switch off bodywork to do some other needed chores, took apart passenger strut and replaced the gas shock and oil bath, cleaned and painted the spring yellow and the suspension parts flat black. Going to get new calipers and get the rotors turned also.
