you can just use some mesh behind the spoiler there like the imports use. it looks pretty good. the only problem you run into is that it will probably clash with the stock grille on there now. so you'd probably want the replace that with mesh as well. it's real cheap and looks pretty good. is that body kit fiberglass?

Well I have a 1/2 inch lip on the inside. I thought I would bolt some L brackets on and then bolt the mesh on that. I am going to leave the upper grill stock. I am however going to paint it gloss black to match the lower grill. I think it will work like that. I will take pics as I do the project.

Now its just too cold to work in the garage on the Z, it might make it into the 30's tonight which for the west coast of Florida is cold. So I've been been wasteing time shopping Ebay style till i get back in the garage.
Here's what i have coming:
92-95 HONDA CIVIC FRONT STRUT TOWER BAR
$7.95 (s&h was $15)
DATSUN TURN SIGNAL SWITCH AND LEVER(USED)
$1.00
Datsun 260z,280z Fusible Link Covers- OEM
$13.50
1980 Nissan Datsun 280zx wiper arms
$5.50
DATSUN Z 280Z 260Z 240Z ENGINE LIGHT WORKING

The strut tower is supposed to fit according to some forum talk over at Zcar.com but you have to drill a new hole in one spot.

Finished the front struts, left brake caliper had one bolt that took about 1 hour 1/2 to take out, torch, vise grips, liquid wrench, a big hammer and chisel worked in the end, need a new bolt of course, but i passed that bridge when the vice grips came out.
HHmm, while i have the bondo out i think i will lose the front and rear side marker lights , heres the before/after of what that would look like, much cleaner look i think...

Tha t baby is coming along great. I like the shaved look. I am gonna try to do a flush look, I like having side markers cause it gets very dark out here. I dont want some fool to plow into the side of my Angel. The rims look sweet also. Keep the pics coming.

Yea we got a **** load of stars. And if you drive 5 miles to the mountains you can see the northern lights. Not as good as Montana but still they are there. Looks like a lot of fun patching them holes. I adjusted my valves today, it was actually very easy. Just follow the instructions.
