Hey wolf,
First of all great job with the car...second you have inspired me and it just so happens that there is a 240 near my house goin for 500 OBO... He said the head was just replaced and some other stuff was replaced but the electrical was messed up (something with the fuse box front right engine compartment). I was wondering what you think i should do. The car reminds me a lot of your car when you got it and ive seen what you have done.
SO, with that i was also wondering about how much money and time you have spent on the project so far...
thank you,
Rob

Thanks, glad to help inspire,
Well you get a Chiltons/Haynes off ebay or amazon and do as much as you can, i've spent about $400-500 beyond the car price i would guess......electrical is not my strongpoint but if you buy a tester and follow the specs it should be doable, plus the early ones will have lots less to go wrong electricly without fuel injection in the picture, fuse box shouldn't be too hard.

Also it is vitally important, to make sure your cooling system is in perfect working order. I have learned the hard way more than once. Make sure your temperature gauge is always working correctly. And when you see it sweep over to the right. Pull over, and shut the car off immediately.
Anyway, sorry to hear about your dilemma. Good luck, and keep us posted.
