datto....
maybe i'm uninformed, but what exactly are you trying to achieve with this mod?
have you made any changes at all to the manifold to increase the flow through it? same question for the head itself.
what block and head combination are you using?
is this a normally aspirated setup or are you using forced induction and if you are, what type?
just trying to learn something here.

hey robbyzedd
im building a turbo setup for my car. as for the intake manifold, i still have to port match to the throttlebody which isnt to hard, just time consuming...just have to grind the hole at an angle. im going to get a p90 head and do some minor polishing with a dremel and die grinder but if i cant find a good p90...there are lots of p79 heads i can use even though the exhaust ports are round, i will try to work with it...the p79 and p90 have same combustion chamber. im using my stock n/a block that has been titanium sleeved, heat treated, and using nismo pistons that were overbored about 100th. im not really looking for a lot of power for my car, just reliability, longevity, and some power...i currently have a normaly aspirated car with SU's built to get 200hp at the wheels...good power and could rev to 9000 rpms easy...i just wanted to try fuel injection for the first time. me and you both will be learning something as i go through this fuel injection phase. thanks take it easy

wow datto, looks great. What size is that tb? looks fairly big compared the the tiny 50mm one. Also, are you going to go the stock throttle linkage or convert to cable? A tb upgrade is pretty high on my todo list as well, im kicking myself for throwing the 240sx tb away at the junkyard :-(

the t/b is a 65mm unit from a v8 1973-1974 mercedes. im thinking of using the stock linkage and get it lengthen to work with the throttlebody. its gonna be a while til i fully figure things out but hopefully it will work out great!i have plans of what i want to do, its just getting the pieces made, then it should work fine,,,,i still have to work with the tps as well....sorry about the 240sx t/b you gave to the junkyard...theres one for sale on zcar for 60 bucks, maybe you can talk him down the price a bit...ill keep you posted on the t/b when i get everything done!
