Yes it is 76' is the 1st year of the bosch fuel injection mass air is on the car. I work on cars everyday and i know what mass air is. not tryin the be cocky about it but i know what i'm talking about.

i don't really care what its call basicly the same consept and it was stated like so in the haynes book for the car all i ask is that my question is awnsered.

There isn't performance upgrade out there that I know of. But you can do couple thing to make yours better. one is to loosen the coil spring by one or two notch inside to make the AFM(air flow meter) react quicker.( also makes mixture little bit more rich) Secong is to replaces the outside shell with turbo AFM. You wouls have to use the N/A (normal aspiraration) guts to make it work with your 76 ECU. You would need an air fuel ratio gauge to get a proper setting for best result.
