Have you checked your basic maintenance items like the plugs, cap, rotors, plug wires, and other things like that? Is it always at 2500 rpms regardless of throttle position? A little more info will help to pinpoint your problem.

Re: missing at about 2500 rpm
If the car is idleling fine then it must be something related to what the other guy said. Check your plug wires. My car was also missing about the same RPM's, I changed the spark plugs and it help a little bit. but then I noticed that my spark plug cables were damaged. a quick check to see if you need to replace your cables is to check them a night I mean when it is really dark open your hood and if you notice electical current flowing outside along the calbles you need new ones. I replaced mine from 7mm to 8mm. the problem has gone away. also check your coil. that could be another problem but I'm betting on the plugs. good luck
