never before seen Ignition Module
I went to the junkyard looking for a hood for my 280ZX 83, because this past thursday a jeep backed into my car. Was Ironic is that I was at the insurance place making my payment. Anyway, I've fixed her this weekend. the hood I bought is nice with no rust or dents of anykind, there are two more hoods there, then again I live in the desert, the sand preserves everything. well back to my question. when I looked at the cars I saw something with one of the cars there it is also a 83 280ZX NT manual. I noticed that the ignition module has an extra connection that looks like the ones from the fuel injection,or water temperature sensors. And the conncetion to plug into is right on the module on the right side. I looked at my car and I noticed I have an extra plug floating around. I never new were it went since I bought it and the books never talk about it. I also noticed that the wires are the same as mine blue and blue w/ white stripe. and it is the same as the one in the car at the junk yard. So what is that for?
