New windshield Gaskets w/o chrome?

Is there such a thing? I'm trying to find new windshield gaskets that don't use the chrome lock strips But I cant seem to find any.

Were there any S30 models that didn't use chrome strips? If all S30's have the strips, I don't see a reason for anyone to make a gasket that doesn't have the slots.

As far as I know all the S30s did use the chrome lock strips.

Guess I'll just have to try and salvage the old lock strips and paint them black.

The "good twin" is right. There aren't any. On my last build I did not pull the glass before paint. I cut the weather strip way back to expose the glass. After paint I masked an outline for the stripps and filled with windsheild silicone and smoothed it out. Did the same with the hatch. A lot of work but it made it flush mount.
